61 Shoreline Drive is a classic 1930s, two-bedroom beach cottage in historic Lordship, Connecticut, reinterpreted for modern living. Recently re-constructed and furnished by local artists, the cottage has an open floor plan and casual furnishings. The cottage sits directly on Long Island Sound, with spectacular southern views of the sound, sunrise and sunset. A large deck looks out directly on the water.
The cottage is a great place to unwind with friends or just a special loved one. It’s perfect for two couples as there’s a bedroom and living area on each floor. But it’s also a great place for families, with lots of room to play inside and out. It’s a wonderful retreat from the hustle and bustle of Southwestern Connecticut.
The cottage’s two bedrooms have queen sized beds; a day-bed in the upstairs living area is also available. A bedroom, open kitchen, eating and living area, with large deck overlooking the water, comprise most of the first floor. The second floor has a second bedroom with dressing room and a large living area. A wood stove in the main living area provides additional warmth during the colder months.
The cottage is located only minutes off of interstate I-95, and is quickly accessible from Stamford to New Haven. Local train service from Stratford and Bridgeport to New York, Stamford, and New Haven is easily accessible.
